Time to say bye bye!

I have no clue if anyone still comes here, but in the event any one does I would like to announce that this blog will be going bye bye soon.

While I have tinkered around with various blog sites I have to say that overall all wanted a place of my own that I could call my very own. Well the time has finally come and it's time to let people in on what I have been working on for the past few months on my spare. It's still work in progress, but I would like to welcome everyone and anyone to my blog's new and HOPEFULLY permanent home.

Big thanks to all who have followed me up till now and put up with my long absence of not providing any content. I have many things planned for this new blog so hopefully delivering content will not be an issue this time around.

I think I will probably kill this blog next month on my birth as a means to wash away the past and welcome in the new. So as it stands, June 12 2009 will be the last day for anyone to view any content here.

Something to think about

A New Year brings change

Well 2008 has come and gone, so what will the New Year bring in? I really have no clue! I have seriously been considering to start updating my blog again, but with the VF hype being so far down in the toilet it's really hard to find the motivation to do so. I have been a gamer for the majority of my life and as a gamer I have had the pleasure of meeting tons of new people and traveling to some really cool places, but as a GAMER who plays VF I feel like my gaming career is going down the drain. There is something about VF that just drains your life away and prevents you from playing other things. VF somehow seems to trick you into believing it's your child and as any parent would love it's child you often feel that you have to nurture your child(skills) or it may simply die. Well I will always love VF, but I am tired of neglecting the fact that I am a die hard gamer and will probably be one till the day I die or till the day that I can not grasp a joystick / controller in my hand.

Over the years I have built up a library of shrink wrapped games that cross many genres. I have decided it's time I branch back out again and started playing the things that shaped me into the gamer that I am. I used to be such a huge fan of RPGs, but I really can't tell you the last time that I finished one. I have started many on my Xbox / Xbox360, PS2 and PSP, but I have got incomplete save files coming at me from every angle. I also plan to not make VF the only fighter that I am into. I decided that I will get back into DOA4, but I am having a really hard time deciding on which character to invest time in. The game is tons of fun, but so many of the characters are such a waste of time due to the games balance. Kokoro has been my long time fave due to her Akira like moves, but depending on the match up it can be a pain in the ass to get decent damage. Maybe I just don't know the game that well anymore since I haven't really been into it for well over 1 year, but I will try to seek some guidance from a few players that I know.

The major change for me in the gaming community is that I have officially decided to drop the name Konjou Akira and just roll with Konjou. Most people refer to me as Konjou anyways and lately I have found myself straying away from playing Akira exclusively. I think from here on out I will follow other players like Denkai, CidKid and Luck_GT in being known for using more characters. So from here on out folks, Konjou does not have a main character any more. He will simply try his best to play everyone.
